The SEC Commission’s mission is to bring states together to implement a common vision for high-performance rail throughout the corridor.

The Commission will work with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Amtrak, and freight rail partners to establish and progress statewide and regional rail initiatives, identify program and project priorities, and secure consistent funding. The Commission will advance rail throughout the corridor through policy, education, and collaboration to help drive the region’s economy.
